Yes, it's a witch, not a ghoul. And I have no specific reason to call it a witch. I just thought that this look was witch-y.

Inspired by (indeed) ghoul and some makeup arts I found on the internet, I created this Witch Look for Halloween. It's already October 26th, but not too late to post something with Halloween theme, even though I'm pretty sure this blog will be filled by forever Halloween posts.

This year, I feel everyone getting excited of Halloween. Not just celebrating it by coming to a 'Halloween' party effortlessly, but everyone now is getting the Halloween vibes. I can see that so many parties require their guests to come with their costumes.

Too bad I'm not going anywhere this Halloween. Not because I'm busy but I just don't have such a partner in crime for something like costume party. Anyone wanna ask me out and wear crazy makeup + full costume with me?

Well, I will celebrate Halloween everyday in my blog though, if you define Halloween with 'wearing unusual makeup'.

Enough words. Here I am, as the Witch. Still far from a pro. I also depend too much on photo editing.

This time I managed to not being lazy and capture the step-by-step of the eye-make.

This will be a short review of an eyeshadow palette that I bought few months ago: NYX The Natural Shadow Palette

When I heard NYX launched their new eyeshadow palette that come in two types, I've been always wanting to have one. The Smokey and The Natural Palette offer 6 colors of eyeshadows that create a glamorous smokey look or glamorous natural look. Because I'm not a fan of smokey look, I choose this Natural Palette. The colors are really suitable for everyday look.

What I love about NYX is their affordable price but still have such a good quality. I bought this only for IDR 100,000. The size is not big enough, but it's really worth to get it with that price. Here, if you wonder about the size, not as big as my palm, but you must note it that my palm is big.

Here's the colors: three shimmer eyeshadows, and three matte colors.

Too bad, they are not very pigmented. The single eyeshadow or triple eyeshadow of NYX are way better than this. But, I read the review of this palette, many said if you use white base, the colors will pop out. I never try that though.

However, I still recommend this eyeshadow palette. It's affordable and have such nice colors to create 'cheat nude look', to be natural with makeup.

The theme really excites me. Unlike IBB MUC previous themes, this kinda needs an effort to just make my imaginary look popping up in my mind. But when first knowing the theme is about alter ego, Hollow Ichigo came into my mind. Ya! It's Kurosaki Ichigo from the famous manga 'Bleach'. He has a hollow (bad spirit) side of himself even though he's a shinigami who supposed to beat all hollows out. In this manga, Ichigo is often told to fight with his own hollow to get the control of his power.

It's NYX The Curve, the felt tip eyeliner which is created to be functioned effectively. I saw it first in Michelle Phan favorite video, and since that I'd been curious. However I thought what the function really is since we already get used to the usual felt tip liner with the straight-marker-like shape. And well okay, at first try, I need to accustom way I hold this eyeliner. But at second try and forth, I found this eyeliner is really different from another liquid eyeliner. Yes, it's so helpful in defining the eyes.

Many words have been said already by just seeing the package, right?! I really agree with the word 'Steady, Even Lining'. With that shape, I can make more clear line with a fine stroke by the felt tip, very good for a beginner.

Not different from any other felt tip liner. So, I conclude that the strong point is the shape. Michelle's not wrong. It's genius!

Just like the title has said, the post is about the Grand Opening of NYX Studio at Trans Studio Mall, Bandung.

Finally, got time to write this post. These days I was too busy to move my body, got attached so much with my bed, and my PSP.

On March 27th, I, accompanied with my univ friend, went to Trans Studio Mall. I, actually, live in Jakarta, but every Wednesday-Thursday, I'm always in Bandung (Jatinangor, exactly) to attend class, coz I'm still registered as UNPAD student. So, what a right time when I saw NYX event would be held in Bandung, on Wednesday. I would definitely come.

NYX is a cosmetics brand that comes from Los Angeles, United States. I remember, at first, I called it by spelling NYX 'en wai ex', coz N-Y-X are all consonants, and it has become my instinct to spell it that way. Until I know that NYX is actually derived from the name of Goddess of Night, a Greek Goddess. So, since I knew it, I started to call it Nyx.

The name is related to the NYX's concept itself.

The motto is all connected to the glamorous life of the night. And NYX lets the glam spread to every women by providing the cosmetics which offer fierce, bold, and glam look.

That day, the place was also designed to be glamorous. Look! Red carpet everywhere. Feel like a celebrity attending Oscar.

Here came the main show. NYX studio was officially opened, symbolized by ribbon-cutting ceremony.
