It's Safe from the Trash Bin

When I was preparing some stuffs for school, I took a look at my note binder. I separated the important notes and the meaningless scribbles. Arranged the important notes neatly, and threw the rest in to the trash bin. Then, I found my own handwriting on this note. I'd written a story. Here it is.

This morning, I came to school which the students are from low economic class. I got a chance to teach in there. That was so exciting. I love kids very much. But today is different. There was no teaching and learning.   We played together. One thing we did was making chocolate balls.

"Listen, kids!" shouted one of my friends. "Today, we're going to cooking."

"Horray!" The children seemed happy.

"So, line up! We went to divide you in groups."

They started to stand in line. However, it was difficult to put them in order. Some were still playing even fighting each other. But finally, we did it. they stood in group which consist of eight kids.

I handled a group.

"Now, take out your bowls," said me. "I want to give you some maries." (I mean biscuits called marie)

Each got three maries.

"Crush it into powder."

They followed my instruction. After that, I poured some chocolate and margarine in to their marie and made that dough into balls. Then, the chocolate balls were finished.

They gathered to eat the chocolate balls. A minute later, I saw a little girl who didn't eat that snacks."

"Have you finished eating yet?" asked me.

"No. They are in my bag," answered her.

"Are you dislike them?"

She shook her head. "I want to give it to my mother."

I smiled at her, "That's kind."

How sweet! The other children ate all of the chocolate balls but she remembered her mother. She wanted to to share this happiness to her beloved mother.

I was so enchanted. I thought I want to call my mother later.

The End.

Pardon my lack of grammar in that story. I know I did some grammar mistakes, but I don't want to change it. Let it be.

I don't remember where I wrote that, at which class, or for what. And even I don't remember whether it's true or not. Yeaa, some part is true, but either part, I don't know. I can't remember it.

However, I'm kinda amazed. Sometimes it happens, amazed by my own writings. LOL! Some writings are so silly, but all never fail to make me smile even a bit. That one above is kinda touching and really sweet. I just hope it really happened.

My Beauty Diary: Bulgarian White Rose Mask

These days, I've found myself so excited in buying skincare products. I wanna know and have a kinda adventure with those. At first I didn't even dare to try because I had sensitive skin. But since I already fixed my skin problem, giving a try to some good reviewed products is a fun to do. Oh, there's another important thing. Before I decided to take this 'adventure', I learned much about skincare and knew, also identified my skin; what type, what problem. So it's not gonna be a wild random adventure with many many skincare products. And also, I think it must be done by using guaranteed products only. You know, a big no no to those abal-abal products.

Talking about skincare, a sheet mask cannot be forgotten. I love wearing this because it gives soothing and relaxing effect to my face. Will be so good especially to apply on tired skin; after a day doing activities, a day spending outside; what else to do besides to treat my skin in a simple way?! Ya, another plus for sheet mask. Simple. No washing after, just washing before, and apply. Finished?! Just take it off.

My Beauty Diary sheet mask is one of favorite masks. It becomes so popular in its country, Taiwan. I remember at first I thought this brand is from Japan. I used to think the popular one must be from Japan. LOL! Besides that, the packaging looks so Japan in my opinion.

This is my first time trying this brand. And I choose Bulgarian White Rose Mask.

My Beauty Diary sheet mask has so many variants that can be chosen by knowing our needs. Every mask has its own main ingredient, savor, and purpose.

Bulgarian White Rose Mask is suitable for all skin types. The mask's purposes are moisturizing skin and giving back its radiance. So, it's devoted to the one who has dull skin. Like me.

Water, Butylene Glycol, Glycerin, Propylene Glycol, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Ananas Sativus (Pineapple) Fruit Extract, Glycyrrhiza Glabra (Licorice) Leaf Extract, Arnica Montana Flower Extract, Triethanolamine, Rosa Centifolia Flower Water, Soluble Collagen, Laminaria Digitata Extract, Actindia Chinensis (Kiwi) Fruit Extract, Styrene/Acrylates Copolymer, Dimehtyl Silanol Hyaluronate, Polysorbate 20, Methylparaben, Cucums Sativus (Cucumber) Fruit Extract, Sodium Hyaluronate, Citric Acid, Fragrance, Carbomer, Xanthan Gum, Sodium Hydroxide, Potassium Hydroxide.

Taking pic while wearing this sheet mask.

The scent is familiar. It's white rose water or air mawar's scent. Of course, it's because they come from rose. Though one is Bulgarian, one is Indonesian,....maybe, I don't know (*ノ・ω・).

The obvious difference between My Beauty Diary sheet mask and other sheet masks that I've tried is the sheet is more transparent; more light and more cool feeling that's given. Beside that, the fluid in this mask is rapidly absorbed to my skin.

After more than half hour wearing this, I feel my skin is fresher and more supple. It makes me wanna try other variants of this brand ヽ(^Д^)ノ. Black Pearl, maybe, I heard it's one of the best selling.

Schwarzkopf Fresh Light: Clear Ash

Back with another Fresh Light hair dye post.

Last month, I wrote about Fresh Light hair dye in Sweet Apricot. Actually, I dyed my hair on December. I re-dyed my hair on the beginning of February. So it was about two month interval to the next hair-dyeing. The black root already had enough time to show up.

In my February Haul post, I already put the pic of the new repurchased Fresh Light, in Clear Ash. I always wanted ash hair, because it looks so gorgeous. However, I still want my hair go brighter. But when I went to Guardian after attending Beauty Couture event, I bought this Fresh Light. I was determined to go ashy this time.

But, how's the result?

This is the box. The Blythe doll has the darker ash hair than my brown hair used to be.

The explanation on the back clearly says that my hair would be darker, rite? I consider my hair would be like the second table, from brown to that ash.

Here's what inside the box.

I'm not gonna tell how to apply because I already told it here, in my post about Fresh Light Sweet Apricot. So, I'm gonna go directly to the result.

Okay, here's my hair before.

Black root, and reddish brown hair color, the result of previous Fresh Light hair dye.

And this is the result of Schwarzkopf Fresh Light Clear Ash. Be readyyyyy...!

Dahell! Why my hair didn't go ash?!

As the pic has shown, my hair still has kinda reddish brown color. In real, it looks more yellowish than reddish. If there's a change, it happens on my root. The black root is successfully covered.

What did I do wrong?

I expected a darker color. I also think, ash has some green tone, not yellow or red. Whoooahh it's really out of expectation. Why Clear Ash color has the same result as another color I've tried?

I'm dissapointed...yeah.. And I try to cheer my self up, by taking pic of my hair under the sunlight. I don't know, it looks yellowish ash there (dahell is 'yellowish ash'?!!). But actually, no difference at all. No one realizes I have dyed my hair ash.

Maybe, this failure happened because my hair was not bright enough before. I should have very bright brown color before dyeing my hair ash. But I already expected much. Sigh!

Pic to end this post.

o(´^`)o I failed to go ash.

Beauty Couture

Almost two weeks ago (two weeks, eh?! ∑(O_O;) ), on February 2nd, I and other beauty bloggers from Indonesian Beauty Blogger were invited to the launching of Beauty Couture at Mall Taman Anggrek.

What is Beauty Couture?

Actually, it's a place called a one stop to fulfill beauty needs. At there, people can have treatment such as nail art, manicure, pedicure, facial, and many many more. Not only that, at Beauty Couture, people will be able to find many beauty products that are suitable for them. They can discuss their skin problem, and the beauty consultants will kindly suggest the products that are available there. Don't worry! So many beauty products that you can find it there, and they are from the famous brand such as Etude House, Skin 79, Coverderm, Dr. Jart+, Cottage, Redwin, NZ Health Naturally, and Avene.

Sneak peek...

The interior is so nice; pretty, classic, and elegant. Cannot stand to camho.

By the way, this is my very first event. So much chances last year, but only now, in 2013, I can attend an event. Because what? Because I'm unemployed now. So I can focus on my blogger life.... ヽ(´ー`)ノ and my academic life of course. Hahaha...

Okay, back to the event. Here's before going face:

That day, the agenda would be; getting a makeover, learning nail art, and being introduced what inside Beauty Couture.

Okay, first was make over. And I was so lucky! Shoshanah Serly was the one who did the makeover. I got so many beauty tips from her: how to get Korean eyebrows-eyebrows always became my serious problem in doing makeup, but I usually cheated it with bangs, but now I know how to deal with it (⌒▽⌒)☆-; and then, knowing my eyes which have puffy brow-bone and so cat eyes would suit me; how to shade and highlight; and tips for lips also.

After the makeover...

Ouuwwiiee my brows .

After done with the makeover, there was another session. Time to learn about nail art. Theme was gradation nails.

Tools...that could be brought home.

Here is my work. Ummm..messy, huh?! But it is okay, as long as I fill the whole part of my nail.

But..o-kay it's better to see it from a far.(; ̄д ̄)

Right after the nail art session, we were getting ready for the tour inside Beauty Couture.

First to know was the part for body. There was displayed many shower cream, gel, and perfumes.

Beauty tools.

Special shelf for BB Cream...

Why does Beauty Couture keep saying 'Feel Good In and Out'? Because they provides ALL beauty needs, including what inside body needs.

Here are many variants of honey from NZ Health Naturally.

Yeah, testers! Can be tested for the taste.

Still, they have many products...

Besides many many shelves that displayed many many beauty products, Beauty Couture also has some rooms to do the treatment.

This is pedicure room. They said they have chocolate pedicure which I was really curious about it.

This is room for facial treatment and massaging.

Inside it, they have this. A machine to make face slimmer, cause nowadays girls really want a V-line face.

That was the last to be shown. The tour ended there.

I suddenly realized it was so crowded there. So many people gathered and even had tried to get makeover or treatment. There was also a dance show as an opening for the launching which is symbolized by cutting the ribbon.

Officially, Beauty Couture has been launched and opened. I think they have an amazing concept which knows well what women really need. Shopping, getting makeover, nail art, manicure and pedicure, treatment, massage, those all can be done in one place. Pretty interesting to come back again and enjoy many things that are offered for our beauty.

And that day, I came home bringing nice goodies.

Hi Snake!

Gong Xi Fa Cai! I'm wishing you the prosperity in this year of snake.

Yesterday was Chinese New Year. As an Indonesian, I think I'm the one of few people who have much celebrations of CNY. Because what? Because I live with my Grandma who is the oldest among my big family. So, my house becomes such a base camp during CNY. All my families gather here. Lotsa things to do for CNY. Beside that, nowadays there's only a few Chinese who still do pray traditionally, arrange the altar, and something like that. But we do.....or I mean Grandma does. Well, I have lost the excitement of praying like that since I was a teen, maybe.

In my house, we usually have rituals to do, such as praying, having dinner, gathering, and of course kiong-hi kiong-hi asking for angpaos  (for this I never lose my excitement). It's lucky to be unmarried. I kinda imagine it when I'm married one day, maybe CNY won't be as exciting as what it be now. Cos giving has less excitement than receiving. True?! Be honest, it must be true.

February 9th, at noon, Grandma prepared the altar; cooked the dishes, arranged it, lighted hio, and prayed.

I like the smell of burned hio, kinda mystical in such a cool way. It's like smelling the scent, and then you know the exclusive figure and image which that smell brings to you.

Talking about smell, this flowers cannot be absent during CNY in my house. It's sedap malam or tubroses. Evening comes, and my house will smell soooo nice. That's why it's called sedap malam. These flowers only produce nice smell during the night. Sedap at malam hari. And this smell fills all parts of my house, even till now.

In the evening, family members started to come. Kids will be ordered to take a shower. After the shower, it will be the first time wearing new pajamas that were bought for CNY's eve.

This is my new pajama. It's red! No surprise.

Love the details. A little Chinese Girl in gold holding lampion and sakura and Chinese writings (what does that mean?).

Immediately after the family members had arrived, CNY's eve dinner was started. All the dishes were cooked by Grandma. The menu is always same every year. Some dishes are cooked only once a year. So how it cannot be enjoyed?! Special CNY menu! I even hadn't had a meal since the morning for this. Wtf?!

Asinan Jawa, fried chicken, fried chicken balls, bamboo sprout, seafood, noodles, meatballs, pork, some Chinese dishes which I don't know how to write. No reason to be not full.

CNY's eve dinner is always become time for chit-chatting among the family, till late night. Even kids will stay awake too. However, this year was not as noisy as years before. 12 o'clock, the house had been quiet already. All went home. But the next day, noise filled house again, even louder than the dinner time.

The first day in snake year, more people came to house. We celebrated it by saying kiong-hi to the elders and older people, and getting angpaos in return. The best part of CNY is here!!! Yes, I'm talking about angpaos.

But, angpao is not a main one,.....err~ indeed is a main one, but I mean there're also lotsa excitements on CNY. Gathering with cousins, chatting with them, and eating many many cakes and meal which are only there during CNY. Such a joy!

By the way, this is my big family.

Sometimes, there was too crowded at house, so we, kids (yes, I am kid) would be chilling out at other part of house.

Or, maybe busy camwhoring...like I did.

Oo (what I call my aunty) wanna join too.

Oh ya, I forgot. Our house was also be visited by special guest who faithfully had come every CNY for two years.

It's Molly! Little pom that lives with Oo.

Isn't she so cute.....and small?! Compare her face to my hand. And yaa I've just realized she comes every CNY, last year and this year.

Okay, back to CNY celebration. After that huge family gathering at house, we went to mall, like typical Jakarta's citizens do on holiday. I had a feeling that Mall Taman Anggrek and Central Park Mall would be so crowded, so REMOVED them from the list. We decided to head to Grand Indonesia. Not so crowded there.

This is my face of the day

I wore Princess Mimi Almond lens, and fake upper lashes, and eyeliner, but no eyeshadow. Lips, I used lip concealer and reddish orange lipstick, and created gradation. For cheeks, I used my new Holika Holika red blush on. I wore it right below my eyes, upper than usual, inspired by Harajuku Kawaii girls. It cannot be seen clearly in pic. Actually, I wanted my blush on very red one, but sisters and mom said 'stop, it's too red'. Maybe next time, I'm gonna try the real harajuku red blusher.

Next, outfit of the day. I named it Hello Kitty Rocks!

I combined Hello Kitty top with rame legging, and wore flat ankle boots. It must be red, because it's CNY. Haram for not wearing red. LOLOL!

Accessories. I was wearing spikey candies color bracelet and a random dolphin-peace sign-heart bracelet.

What next is series of pic taken at Grand Indonesia. Embrace yourself....err~ no, but Enjoy.

And the failed ones. I was trying to snap a picture of my whole body at big mirror at one of the store. Snap! But oopss, blur. And Oo was behind me.

Okay, try again. Snap! Ugghh...Nia stepped in.

Our Chatime Milk Tea pics. As the typical mall visitors, took a rest and relaxed while drinking Chatime.

My dinner on that day: big portion of I Fu Mie.

Such happy days I had. I hope you all had the same happiness. Also I wish for another big happiness a year ahead. Hope this snake brings such a good thing.

By the way, how many angpaos did you get?
