L'oreal Professionnel 'Runway Hair Parade', Jakarta Fashion Week 2014

From October 19th to 25th, the biggest fashion event in Indonesia was held. It was Jakarta Fashion Week 2014 that was held at Senayan City Mall, Jakarta.


Fashion event is not only about outfits. Of course look is an important thing to be noted. Makeup and hairdo are things that support models' performance on runway shows. This year, the official product of backstage hairstylists in Jakarta Fashion Week is Tecni.art from L'oreal Professionnel. Along with the first day of Jakarta Fashion Week 2014, L'oreal Professionnel launched their new Tecni.art product called Super Dust.

Thanks to Indonesian Beauty Blogger who has given me chance to see the 'Runway Hair Parade' by L'oreal Professionnel. At there, I could see hair show and demo product using the new Super Dust that was done by five top backstage hairstylists of Jakarta Fashion Week 2013. They are Dorris from Sibel Salon, Batam; Fenny from Lie Kuang Salon, Semarang; Indah from Irwan Team Hair Design; Iwan from Iwan Salon, Bandung; and Jeffry Welly from Rudi Hadisuwarno School.  





Tecni.art itself is a series of styling products that launched by L'oreal Professionnel. One of them is the new Super Dust that come in powder form. It offers three different runway look that may become the inspiration; Power Volume for messy hair, Super Matt for dry and matt effect that is suitable for short hair, and Instant Look for 60's hairstyle such as faux bob. 


Collaborated with Hunting Fields for the 'Lucidity' outifts, here are the models with their runway hairstyle:



I also visited L'oreal Professionnel Hair Lounge. It was always crowded because everyone want to know more about the products. In addition, we could get hair-styling inside. 




And yeah~ I brought home these nice goodies. Can't wait to try that Tecni.art Air Fix.

Bouncia Body Soap

As a female, it's also not wrong if you're a male, I always think of getting the best product to help me have the healthiest skin, not only for face but body also. Healthy skin is a key to beauty. Then, if we talk about beauty/health for body, we need to talk about soap as the most essential one. 

Here is Bouncia Body Soap.


This body soap is from Japanese Brand 'Cow Brand', that has motto: 'Cow Style'. This brand has established since 1909, and their solid soap become the no.1 in Japan. Go here to know more about this brand.



And this Bouncia is one of their products which has a very special ability, because the foam particles are said to be smaller than others and they're able to penetrate deeply to our skin. Therefore, it keeps the skin clean, smooth, and moisture. 

Bouncia is enriched with hyaluronic acid, collagen, and milk butter to maintain the skin's natural moisture; and licorice-derived dipotassium glycyrrhizate to remove dead skin's cell. Looking at the packaging, it's so simple yet luxurious. The gold color emphasizes it. And when I try this soap, I know why it has luxury concept.

It smells so nice and very luxurious, even though at first I expected to smell something mild because I think of the milk butter as one of its ingredients, but...surprise...it's floral scent instead. 

Once I get my shower puff together with the soap, the foam starts appearing, and it's getting to appear more and more. Why they named it 'Bouncia'? Because the foam is really bouncy. I can feel it's really denser than other foam soap.

With that foam and its nice scent, I feel like I always have luxurious shower-time *posing like soap ads model*. Ahemm.. After rinsing it off, I don't feel my skin becomes dry and rough. Meanwhile, it makes my skin so smooth.

Since Cow Brand is now available in Indonesia, we can get this Bouncia in Guardian, GrandLucky, Papaya, and Yogya. The price is IDR 75,000 for the 550 ml bottle, and IDR 35,000 for 430 ml refill pouch. Pricey?! Well, think again, with those massive amounts of foam, we only need one pump for whole body. I think it will be worth, right?!

Mottai Night Land

Yepp! That's the title of Kyary Pamyu Pamyu's new MV. Here it is:


I was like 'oh yeah, finally this Kyary is back'. Honestly, I was missing this kind of video from Kyary Pamyu Pamyu, because her last two MVs ('Ninja re Ban Ban' and 'Invader Invader') is not as 'weird' as her previous videos. I actually don't know how to describe the feeling I had ever since I watched Kyary's 'Pon Pon Pon' until 'Furisodation', so I just use 'weird' instead. But it doesn't mean those last two MVs are bad. I even love 'Ninja re Ban Ban' so much. As I said, I just missed the 'weird' feeling of watching Kyary's video.

Talking about my favorite part in the video, I will definitely choose the 'strawberry poop'. Who can shit strawberry besides Kyary-chan? And she is uber cute when transform into an animal. Kawaii~

I've googled that mottainai means 'what a waste' (source). I've searched the English translation of the lyric but I don't know exactly what the song is talking about. I just can guess something that is fantastical, wasteful, but also undeserved. That's why there's a fear of losing it, because it's too precious.

For the first time, Kyary's video contains sexiness. There are two sexy candle-headed women wearing only underwear. When I search for the lyric, I automatically think that maybe they symbolize the reality that Kyary doesn't want. In the video, she looks afraid of them. It recalls me to Kyary's 20th birthday party when (I don't remember who) said that now Kyary is an adult, maybe she can be sexy a bit. So I kinda find connection here. She is weird and kawaii, will not and don't wanna be sexy, even though she is twenty. LOL!

I feel super annoyed when I find many people criticize the appearance of two sexy women there. They said why now Kyary Pamyu Pamyu has changed and become as trashy as Western pop by exploiting nudity?! Come on~, they should be questioning themselves, why they are so close-minded and concern too much about the 'exploitation' instead of seeing the meaning of their existence, why they see two nearly naked women as something's wrong?! If they talked about morality, hello~ Kyary was a drunkard in 'Furisodation'. LOLOL! Don't be disappointed with her just because she isn't a 'good' role model as you wish since now in her video there are big boobs and thighs. She has never wanted to be that 'good' from the first. She's simply weird, and that's why she's loved.

Well, that was just my random analysis guessing of 'Mottai Night Land'. I actually always feel excited in guessing what does this mean, what does that mean in every Kyary Pamyu Pamyu's videos. Too bad I don't know Japanese.

Etude House Indonesia 5th Anniversary

Last week, on October 17th, Etude House held Press Launching of Precious Mineral Any Cushion, the new type of liquid foundation that has been a mega trend in South Korea. This 6 in 1 foundation even has gotten huge interests from people in here, Indonesia. No surprise, because everyone will love its efficiency and its multi-function. That day, Etude House Indonesia also celebrated their 5th anniversary, counting from 2008. Actually, they came in Indonesia in 2000 under the name Etude, but in 2008, they re-branded and became Etude House because of the new concept, one stop service. We come to Etude House not only for shopping, because they have consultation and makeover too. They become a house for beauty.


Had come that day, bloggers and media. Whoops, I forgot to mention the place. It was at Ratatouille French Bistro and Bar, at Kuningan, Jakarta. It's such a good place to hangout, really cozy and modern.



Oh, and I love their quote here, even though I've seen it before on 9gag.


Pretty easy to be a woman. LOL!

Back to the event, the speakers on that day are Elise Je Kwon, Etude House Manager Training; Melia Erlina, General Manager of Etude House Indonesia; and Chris Choi, Etude House Business Development Representative.


The demo product by Lee Hong Yeon, makeup artist of Etude House Korea and Ivonne Chandra, makeup artist of Etude House Indonesia. Of course, she was using the new Precious Mineral Any Cushion.


There was also another demo product by beauty blogger, Sasya, who showed us ten minute makeup challenge using Etude House products.


After all the speech and demo, there came the time for celebration. At every birthday, there must be blowing candle and cutting cake ritual. Therefore, they already prepared a really cute cake on the table for the celebration of Etude House 5th anniversary. I said cute cake, I really meant it.




Dominated by pink, this cake is also decorated with many familiar products from Etude House. I spotted Any Cushion, CC Cream, Sweet Recipe, Lash Perm Mascara,...hmm what else?! Can you mention one?

In the fifth year, Etude House Indonesia has already had 32 outlets, and in 2018, they plan to expand by opening another 40 outlets spread in many cities in Indonesia, such as Yogyakarta, Riau, Jambi, Malang, Aceh, and Samarinda. So, let's prepare for the sweetness!

Kiehl's Feel The Power

Kiehl's has been so nice to me and other bloggers too. We were invited to the new store at Lotte Shopping Avenue, Jakarta, to gather there. This famous skincare brand never fail to give me some excitement, even by just coming to their store. Their quirky design always makes me interested. Take a look!



And I was getting more excited seeing the quirky snack served on the table.

Okay, enough with those awesome quirkiness. Now, I'm gonna tell you about the philanthropy mission that Kiehl's holds. Kiehl's will donate to SOS Children's Villages Indonesia in order to help them give the chance for every children in this country to feel the warmness and happiness to have a family surrounds them. SOS Children's Villages has been active in Indonesia since 1972 focused in nurture for children who have lost their family. For this donation program, Kiehl's needs you to participate in this mission. At the event, the bloggers were asked to play a game in which we were needed to cooperate to make domino chain. Each one had 5 to 6 cards to be put there on the table. Everyone must be very careful, or we would fail in making the chain.


Finally, we did it! Time to knock them down!
