Serial Laziness

How are you, guys?!

Me?! Like what you all can see from the title, I'm doing...good...or maybe I'm doing nothing. Haha..ha *bitter laugh*.

I, myself, become the witness that laziness chains. Believe or not, I have a theory that this chain is started by being lazy to do skincare. Yeah, I abandon my skincare routine, lazy for even washing my face. And then, it continues to leaving bodycare routine. No body-scrubbing, no body-buttering, just taking a shower once a day (wtf?!).

Guess what next that I neglect!

Absolutely right, I abandon my blog. Here I am, writing this post at 2 A.M, panicking after reading my last post is two weeks old. Also, I'm doing no good at school. Seriously, I have not finished even a single assignment till today. Ahh~ really...

These two weeks just passed like that. Wasted time.

Here's my effort to make up things I've (not) done. This serial laziness must be stopped. Well, I make this post and hope I will update more often. And, because I don't want this blog lacks of pics, I'm gonna spam it with random pics.

Kinda make a summary too of what I've done recently, like ooh-ing at the mirror.

Making useless fashion coordinates ever by playing The Sims 3. Their names are Seb and Sam Looney, traits : insane.

I do visit some friends too. Furry friends.

Being a ninja

And superheroes

And Colonel Sanders

But, don't worry! At this level of laziness, I still work, coz no work, no money, no fun.

Work at Traceroute Party 2013 too

Realize or not, this post is kinda lazy post. Instead of writing one post per one event, I just poured everything down here.

"Be lazy but always be cool," someone said. So, here's a 'cool' pic

Stay Happy!

First to say I Love Blogwalking!

Proudly tell you, I can spend much time all day long in front of my notebook (just) to read everyone's blogposts. But most of the time, I only become a silent reader. Hehe.

Some blogs are awesome. And now that I just thought I love blogwalking so much, but the blogs that I walked in are mostly from Asia that's written in English. Why Asia? Dunno, always end up reading Asian's stuffs. Why English? Because that's the only language besides Indonesian that I know. I always want to read any Japanese blogs, but cannot, of course. Sigh!

Oh well, ummm... this post is not about blog walking. I kinda always make such a quite-not-related-long intro. However the intro relates a bit. So, yesterday, I read QiuQiu's blog. She wrote about her hen's night or her bachelorette party. But here's the passage I like:

She sees sad people and so do I. Problem's here, problem's there. Always being sad and what worse is somehow they like to share their sadness. That's their big problem!

I cannot deny that life's so hard sometimes. Well, everyone wants to be happy but everyone traps in their problem, thinks about it all the time, and most of them are not happy coz of that. But what makes me confused is what't the point to share it? Okay, okay, people say share heals the pain. Indeed. But share to everyone in the world?!

Since nowadays we've had lotsa social networks, the sharing has become an easy matter. I love blog, I love facebook, I love twitter. But I hate (pardon my word) people's sad business.

Here I don't mean a stuff like people tweeting about their unfortunate events in such a silly way, in example 'Seeing the perfect dress but not buy it coz it lacks something which it's not affordable. Oh poor me!' or 'I stepped on poop, I slipped on the floor. What's next? FML.", yeaaah something like that. I kinda enjoy it............... Yes, I'm happy reading people's unhappiness *smirk*.

What I actually mean is sad people who think they are in drama. I've seen lotsa tweets and facebook statuses that show the one who posts it now is staring a sinetron which they become a main protagonist like Bawang Putih; suppressed, ruthful, but the angel one. Or worse, their sinetron is one kinda sinetrons that's played during Ramadhan (Indonesian must know this, the feeling of seeing that same plot, same story, with many different titles). Poor their (whoever) God, must listen to many many prayers out there and still must listen to their tweets or statuses. And the worst, when another people try to approach them by commenting or replying, they always say 'nothing'. Such a displeasure response to be given to such a kind of people that care much about their sinetron.

The point is not that I want that people to stop posting that fucking annoying drama, because I, myself and I'm sure millions people also, have our own problems and by reading it, it just makes us want to high-five them in face to show that 'hey, we have some problems too (so shut up)' *inhale*...No...No...coz I think I should be wise enough to write a blog, so the point is to ask people to be happy and be thankful.

Found this famous James' pic:

The words is in Indonesian, but in short, it means life goes on, sometimes happy, sometimes not, but what important is being thankful. Sharing sadness will only bring back that sadness. So, from now on, please share happiness! It means a lot! Throw away the fear, reduce stress, diminish wrinkle, stay pretty, stay happy. Just like Qiu said, "Stay happy! Or go eat some chocolates and feel better!"

NYX The Curve #Jet Black

It's NYX The Curve, the felt tip eyeliner which is created to be functioned effectively. I saw it first in Michelle Phan favorite video, and since that I'd been curious. However I thought what the function really is since we already get used to the usual felt tip liner with the straight-marker-like shape. And well okay, at first try, I need to accustom way I hold this eyeliner. But at second try and forth, I found this eyeliner is really different from another liquid eyeliner. Yes, it's so helpful in defining the eyes.

Many words have been said already by just seeing the package, right?! I really agree with the word 'Steady, Even Lining'. With that shape, I can make more clear line with a fine stroke by the felt tip, very good for a beginner.

The felt tip looks like this.

Not different from any other felt tip liner. So, I conclude that the strong point is the shape. Michelle's not wrong. It's genius!

Hold like this, and lining the eyes will be steady.

Okay, for the shape and function, this eyeliner is a well made. How about the resistance?

NYX The Curve dries quickly, right after the application. So, worry not it's gonna stain the eyelid. No need for fanning the eyelid before open the eyes (LOL!). Also, it's a smudge proof. I tried to rub the swatch on my hand and it stayed still until I rubbed it so hard. But, unfortunately, this eyeliner is not a waterproof. Yeah, however, for me, it's enough to have my eyeliner looks like when I first applied it eight hours ago.

Conclusion: pretty satisfied with NYX The Curve, but I think IDR 200,000 is too expensive for such the shape innovation. Because NYX usually offered makeup products that are pretty affordable. If people ask me to choose between NYX The Curve or another eyeliner that have a good resistance (water proof, smudge proof, and long lasting) with the same price, I choose that another eyeliner.

But still, The Curve is recommended for the eyeliner as the perfect partner to experiment in lining and defining, coz it creates really steady line!!

No, Not Jealous

Here's the story.

About two weeks ago, I was working at the urban kitchen of one of hundreds malls in Jakarta. I was with my friends whom I just met that day. There were four of us, and we had to work in pairs. So I partnered with one of my friend. She's so so so pretty, a very good looking girl.

When we went around Urban Kitchen to work, people were staring at us, or at her actually. Then, there was an adult guy (or maybe a bit old). We approached him, and then he could not stop staring at my friend. I don't know why, but when we almost finished our business with him, my beautiful friend left, approaching another customers. There was only me to finish the conversation.

But then, the guy asked my name.

So I answered. My real name.

And, he asked my friend's name.

I remained silent, pretending to be busy with change.

He asked again.

Me : "Umm.." Busy with change again. "Sorry?"

He asked again.

Me : "Pardon, Sir?"

He asked again.

I told him one random name-not her real name-that came to my mind at that time. He seemed satisfied and he said his greetings to her. After that, I left him.

From that point of view, I look like a jealous drama queen who can't stand being below her friend. I won't give any information about my friends. Only me!

But let's rewind the story!

The guy : "What's ur friend's name?"

Me : ..................
(dafuq, what's her name?!)

I totally forgot her name. It sometimes happens when my first meeting with people. We introduced ourselves and then a second later, I totally forget their names.

I was in panic thinking of her name. Coz the guy kept asking, I told him a random name. After that, I left him with my poker face. When we reached the counter, I suddenly remembered my friend's name. The rest of that day, I was hoping we wouldn't get back to that guy, so that guy wouldn't have a chance to call my version of my friend's name again, or I would be so embarrassed and felt like a jealous bitch. Glad it didn't happen.

Ahh, seriously, everything is possible to be what actually is behind a story.

Grand Opening Studio Counter NYX, Trans Studio Mall, Bandung

Good evening!

Just like the title has said, the post is about the Grand Opening of NYX Studio at Trans Studio Mall, Bandung.

Finally, got time to write this post. These days I was too busy to move my body, got attached so much with my bed, and my PSP.

On March 27th, I, accompanied with my univ friend, went to Trans Studio Mall. I, actually, live in Jakarta, but every Wednesday-Thursday, I'm always in Bandung (Jatinangor, exactly) to attend class, coz I'm still registered as UNPAD student. So, what a right time when I saw NYX event would be held in Bandung, on Wednesday. I would definitely come.

NYX is a cosmetics brand that comes from Los Angeles, United States. I remember, at first, I called it by spelling NYX 'en wai ex', coz N-Y-X are all consonants, and it has become my instinct to spell it that way. Until I know that NYX is actually derived from the name of Goddess of Night, a Greek Goddess. So, since I knew it, I started to call it Nyx.

The name is related to the NYX's concept itself.

The motto is all connected to the glamorous life of the night. And NYX lets the glam spread to every women by providing the cosmetics which offer fierce, bold, and glam look.

That day, the place was also designed to be glamorous. Look! Red carpet everywhere. Feel like a celebrity attending Oscar.

MCs of the day.

There were also greeting speech, from NYX and Metro Department Store's managers.

I think I was the first people to arrive because there was still not many people, only crews I guess. But as time passed, people arrived one by one and many visitors gathered there. Then, it was crowded.

Here came the main show. NYX studio was officially opened, symbolized by ribbon-cutting ceremony.

The new concept of NYX in Bandung, a makeup studio in the department store. Let's sneak peek to the studio.

Maybe you wonder what people were doing in the pic, coz there're models sitting, getting makeup done and many cameras shoot. That's the event that I had been waiting, Makeup Marathon. There were six models and six makeup artists. Wearing NYX products, the makeup artists did six different concepts of makeup to the models. And here're the six concepts.

And oh.., it had done by the time limit, 20 minutes only.

All the models were so pretty and glamorous with their makeup. I want...I want to take a pic with them. Well, only two of them, but I did it.

After the makeup marathon, there was door prize, giving by drawing random business cards that have been collected before from the invitees. And then, the event was over.

I got this. Pic that was taken by the photographer before the show. Me with Ulan, my friend.

See! Really feel like celebrities, right?! Get a photo shoot in a red carpet. How glamorous!

Before going home, take some pics first, coz rare to go to Trans Studio Mall.

What a glamorous experience I got by attending this event. That day, I also bought the new eyeliner, it's The Curve from NYX! Stay tune for the review.

Hahahaha. Bye!
