Real excitement comes when you're finally able to step in a place when you can see all about your unreal idols everywhere. Hatsune Miku just came to Indonesia on May 28th and 29th 2014. She also performed in her concert in Cendrawasih Hall, JCC, even though I didn't watch her. I'm still new in the Vocaloid world. I have no idea about the songs she would perform. Honestly, I only know, mostly, creepy songs of Vocaloid. LOL! And I'm not a big fan of Miku, though I'm a BIG fan of Kagamine Len from Crypton, Gackpo from Internet co.ltd. and Oliver.

But, if there's next time, I would like to watch the concert. Definitely!

I went there on Thursday 29th, with my little sister, Alin. We both are Len's fans, and I think she knows more about Vocaloid songs than me.

The queue was crazy. Non-ticket holders needed to queue to enter the exhibition in order to prevent too much crowd inside. LOT of people lined up in front of Cendrawasih Hall entrance and the line ended near the parking area (in front of the Assembly Hall). But surprisingly, it didn't take a long time for us to finally come inside the building. 

I became overjoyed when seeing the lobby full of Vocaloid pics. First to see was the gallery. They displayed the fan-art of Vocaloids from Crypton: Miku, Len, Rin, Luka, Kaito, and Meiko.

I took a LOT of photos, almost every single art that displayed there. So here're the best I captured.

Maybe for the ones who are not familiar with Vocaloids. There are so many of them that come from different companies. Here are the casts of Miku Expo 2014. They are all from the same company named Crypton.

Next was History Wall of Hatsune Miku. They displayed many figures of the characters. But first display was the software.

The star of the day was, of course, Hatsune Miku. There was a life-size wing Miku figure. I thought I would be able to take a picture besides her, but I couldn't get close enough due to the divider. Didn't even dare to touch Miku.

We also could write a message to Miku and friends on this Piapro walls. Some messages are really funny, some are really creative. They are all good in drawing. See?!

I've been looking for natural color lens with a pretty big diameter. I'd always wanted green contact lens, even since I was in  elementary school. I think because I used to admire Esmeralda, a protagonist in Mexican telenovela. Hahaha. Green makes eyes look bright, reflects purity, but also elegance at the same time. 

So, I decided to purchase green lens from Japan Sofltens, and I chose Ageha Lunatia Green.

The color is so natural and bright, just like what I wanted. And the diameter is big too. So it really helps to make my eyes appear bigger and dolly-like.

The lens is also pretty comfortable. I can wear it all day long, approximately 5-8 hours, without feeling any itchiness and dryness from these contact lenses. The quality is awesomely good. I will say 'I like it'.

'How to draw eyebrows?' becomes the most essential yet difficult task in my everyday makeup routine. I was born with uneven eyebrows. Well, not only uneven, but extremely uneven, so if I draw eyebrows following the line of my natural eyebrows, my face will look super ridiculous. Fortunately, I also was born with thin eyebrows, thus the difference won't look so obvious. With those thin eyebrows, it's easier to manipulate the shape of my eyebrows.

Okay, this is the picture of my natural eyebrows.

My left eyebrow is kinda straight with the correct curve at the correct place, meanwhile my right eyebrow decides to make the curve too early, very near from glabella. I think everyone would agree with me that my right eyebrow is a big problem. 

Now talking about my favorite eyebrows shape, I like them to be not too thick, but not too thin, and not too curvy, but not too straight. Hahaha sounds too absurd. But precisely, arched eyebrows are my least favorite, because in my opinion, it will make my face looks so old. Straight and too thick Korean eyebrows is also not my preference. I like straight eyebrows, but not too thick maybe. But somehow I feel jealous looking at Korean girls that looks so pretty with super thick eyebrows.

For the color, I really like blonde eyebrows. I think eyebrows color MUST BE lighter than hair color. And I even won't protest if someone colors her eyebrows way too light. That's still cool! That's why I always try to make my eyebrows as light as I can. I bleach my eyebrows routinely. See my post about bleaching eyebrows here. Besides that, it's also important for me to trim my brows regularly. 

I then realized, that all of these treatment makes me feel naked if I go out without drawing my eyebrows. Bleaching and trimming make me almost brow-less. So, I can't imagine I live without these:

O-kay, next, this is how I draw my eyebrows so unprofessionally by using Dollywink eyebrow pencil in Honey Brown.

Basic knowledge of drawing eyebrows is to know where to begin (purple), where the curve starts (pink), and where to end it (green). 

Then, I connect the first two dots with a single line.

Now, connect with the last dot.

And fill them in.

Now one side is done!

Hahaa, the difference looks so obvious.

After I have drawn both of my eyebrows. I will use Etude House Color My Brows #2 Light Brown.

Still uneven. Hahahahaha. As I said before, eyebrows will always be the biggest task in doing my makeup.

Okay, I think my left eyebrow is better. So I will take another selfie from this angle.

Whenever you feel down, or super bored by monotonous life, at the same time feel super tired to do those monotonous things, go to salon and get the new hair. Trust me, it works. Mood instantly boosts.

I'd planned to cut my hair short and dye it again, but I thought maybe not now. I still had many things to do, and maybe it would go too pricey. But then, life's going so tough until I think I wanna cut my hair. See the connection?! No?! Neither do I.

Well~ whatever. New look indeed brings some refreshment to life. It's psychologically proven, even though I don't know who said so. So, last Monday, I went to salon with Alin, and spent the longest time ever being there. FIVE hours!! or more.

I got my hair cut and dyed. Totally forgot to take a pic for before and after salon since I was too annoyed seeing my previous hair cut. I went there with my ugly and messy hair, had not washed hair since three days before. The hairdresser cut my hair short bob, just as I wanted. I also wanted to get my hair bleached and dyed. Well, this spent a lot of time. Probably my butt went flat because of too much sitting on that day.

After reached home, I asked Alin to take a pic of my new hair.

The pic was taken with flash, so in real, it's not as bright as that pic, but still looks obvious, especially under the sunlight. And now everyone in the street will stare at me and my red hair.

No one knows what my hair color exactly is. When the hairdresser brought the dye, I was wondering, is she going to change my hair to be carrots, because the color looks like carrots seriously. Previously, I said I want to get rid the yellow tone that my hair got after bleaching. She mixed some colors, and TADAA my hair turned to red. But hey, after rinsing and drying, it came out really nice. I totally like it! So does my Mom. So does my sister.

I actually wanted to make this blog post right after I came home from the salon. But I realized I didn't have eyebrow pencils, powder, or anything else that would be suitable for my new hair. I would not take a selfie with super ridiculous dark eyebrows. When finally my ordered Dolly Wink eyebrow pencil and Etude House brow mascara came safely to my house, I felt so safe to take some selfies.
